Đoàn Thiếu Nhi Thánh Thể St. Polycarp (TNTTSP), a local chapter of Phong Trào Thiếu Nhi Thánh Thể Việt Nam tại Hoa Kỳ (The Vietnamese Eucharistic Youth Society in the USA) and organized under Liên Đoàn Nguồn Sống (Nguồn Sống League, Diocese of Orange) and Miền Tây Nam (Southwestern Region), was formally established on January 16, 1994 at St. Polycarp Catholic Church in Stanton, California under the guidance of Cha/Father Giuse Nguyễn Văn Thành and the collaboration of a small group of young, spirited and determined individuals.  Thanks to the tireless work and sacrifice of all Huynh Trưởng's and benefactors, including former pastors and chaplains, the Vietnamese community at St. Polycarp, phụ huynh (parents), and trợ tá, TNTTSP has experienced tremendous growth in the last 15 years, having commenced with 30 registered Đoàn Sinh (members) and 10 active Huynh Trưởng's (leaders) and grown to what is now approximately 180 registered Đoàn Sinh and 30+ active Huynh Trưởng's, as it strives to carry out the Society's missions:

1. To educate youths in both social and spiritual life and help them become better people and responsible Christians.
2. To organize and guide all youths and help them become more aware of the Church's mission to the world by engaging in the spreading or Good News, and be involved in working for the good of society through apostolate services, in serving others.
